The 2026 China International Textile Fabrics and Accessories (Autumn/Winter) Expo came to a close on August 27 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).
As one of the leading professional events for the textile industry, this year's exhibition highlighted the latest developments across sustainability, digitalization, design innovation, and other key areas shaping the future of textiles.
ValleyDelta brought its industry-leading TDSD® Textile Digital Smart Dyeing technology to the Digital Fashion Innovation Space, joining industry partners and professionals to explore how digital technologies can improve efficiency and accelerate the transition toward more sustainable textile dyeing and finishing.
Exploring New Possibilities in Digital Dyeing
With the theme “Digitalizing Textiles, Creating the Future,” the Digital Fashion Innovation Space was one of the exhibition's key platforms for showcasing digital innovation across the textile value chain.
The space brought together digital technologies and solutions spanning four core areas: design and R&D, manufacturing, business management, and digital standards. Rather than focusing on individual technologies, it offered a broader view of how digitalization is reshaping the textile industry, from product development and manufacturing to management and standardization.
It was in this setting that ValleyDelta's TDSD® waterless digital smart dyeing technology attracted significant attention.
Built on digital inkjet technology, TDSD® integrates hardware, materials, and software into a unified technology system. By digitally re-engineering the conventional dyeing process, it enables highly precise color application at the physical level.
Digital production helps significantly reduce shade variation between batches and reduces reliance on manual expertise. At the same time, the process eliminates water as a dyeing medium, cutting energy consumption by one-third and chemical consumption by one-fifth, while significantly reducing carbon emissions generated during dyeing.
With continuous production speeds of up to 80 meters per minute, TDSD® can deliver production efficiency 5–10 times higher than conventional dyeing machines.

Two Forums, One Conversation on Sustainable Manufacturing
During the exhibition, ValleyDelta participated in two industry forums under the theme “Efficiency Drives the Dyeing Revolution, Green Manufacturing Powers the Textile Ecosystem.”
As the textile industry continues to respond to global and domestic decarbonization and sustainability goals, there is growing demand for more efficient and optimized production methods.
Drawing on industry trends and its own technological experience, ValleyDelta shared its exploration of waterless digital inkjet technology for textile dyeing, with discussions focusing on the advantages of TDSD® in production efficiency, precision control, and resource consumption.
From ambitious decarbonization targets to real-world manufacturing, the transition toward greener production depends on technological innovation.
Reconsidering conventional processes through digital technologies opens up new possibilities for the textile dyeing and finishing industry, helping manufacturers move toward production that is more efficient, precise, and resource-conscious.

ValleyDelta speaking at the Smart Textile Chain Conference
Although the three-day exhibition has come to an end, the industry's exploration of digitalization and sustainable manufacturing continues.
ValleyDelta will continue to advance inkjet technology and develop new possibilities for digital textile dyeing. Starting with TDSD®, we aim to help drive manufacturing toward a future that is more efficient, intelligent, and sustainable.
