On May 7, the 2026 Textile Industry Digitalization Development Conference, themed “Leading the Textile Hub, Shaping the Future Through Digitalization: Building New Quality Productive Forces for the Textile Industry,” was grandly held at the Keqiao International Convention and Exhibition Center in Shaoxing. As a leading provider of digital dyeing solutions, ValleyDelta was invited to attend the conference and joined industry leaders and experts in exploring pathways for industrial transformation at the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
The conference was hosted by China Light Textile City and organized by the China Textile Information Center and the Textile Product Development Center. Distinguished guests in attendance included Yan Yan, Vice President of the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) and Vice President of the China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC); Sun Weigang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Construction Management Committee of China Light Textile City; Hu Song, Director of the China Textile Information Center; and Chen Baojian, Deputy Director of the Textile Product Development Center. The conference was chaired by Chen Baojian.
The conference focused on three core tracks: digital transformation of printing and dyeing enterprises, AI-powered color testing technology, and end-to-end digital upgrading of enterprises. It explored in depth the technological pathways, practical experience, and solutions to key challenges in the digital transformation of the textile industry, injecting strong momentum into the industry's intelligent and high-end upgrading.
Looking toward the new journey of the 15th Five-Year Plan, Ms. Yan Yan pointed out in her keynote speech that efforts should be made to promote the deep integration of AI within the industry, build intelligent model systems with both general capabilities and industry-specific applications, break down data barriers across the industrial chain, achieve efficient collaboration and intelligent decision-making, accelerate the integration of green manufacturing, improve full-chain carbon footprint traceability, and drive the textile industry toward a traceable and sustainable development model.

In the “Special Presentation” session, ValleyDelta COO Ni Yin delivered a report titled “Data-Driven Dyeing Revolution: Empowering the Textile Ecosystem Through Green Intelligent Manufacturing.” The presentation provided an in-depth analysis of the company’s pioneering TDSD® low-carbon digital dyeing technology for textiles and its fully self-developed inkjet technology.
This solution overturns the traditional high-energy-consumption logic of printing and dyeing. Relying on an on-demand production model of “spray and dye instantly,” it achieves a win-win outcome for both efficiency and environmental protection. Compared with traditional processes, it saves 99% of water, reduces carbon emissions by 33%, and decreases chemical usage by 21%. Its ink system has also obtained OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT certification.
In response to the trend of increasingly fragmented orders, ValleyDelta has significantly lowered production thresholds while maintaining high efficiency. With a color gamut coverage of more than 90%, the technology effectively addresses the long-standing industry challenge of “large-sample and small-sample discrepancies.” Through a comprehensive digital solution, it effectively helps enterprises achieve the transformation from “manufacturing” to “intelligent manufacturing.”

AI technology is reshaping the logic of the textile industry, and ValleyDelta is driving this transformation by focusing on the critical stage of dyeing. ValleyDelta will continue to deepen its expertise in efficiency-driven digital inkjet technology, collaborate with industry partners on innovation, and promote the industry's transition toward a future that is more efficient, lower-carbon, and more predictable.
