On November 6, 2024, during the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE), ValleyDelta officially received an SGS Resource Efficiency Verification Statement for its proprietary TDSD® (Textile Digital Smart Dyeing) technology.
The certification ceremony was attended by Dr. Andy Tao, CEO of ValleyDelta, and Dr. An Wang, Global Associate Director of Technology at SGS, marking an important milestone in the company's commitment to sustainable innovation in textile dyeing.
Verified Resource Efficiency
Following an independent assessment conducted in accordance with ISO 14021, SGS verified that the TDSD® process can achieve 98.74% water savings while significantly reducing energy consumption, chemical usage, and the overall environmental impact of textile dyeing.
These verified improvements contribute to significantly lower carbon emissions and reduced environmental impact, providing independent validation of the resource efficiency and sustainability performance of TDSD®.
Beyond strengthening ValleyDelta's technological credibility, the verification also demonstrates how digital dyeing technologies can support the textile industry's transition toward lower-carbon and more transparent supply chains.
Advancing Sustainable Textile Manufacturing
During the ceremony, Dr. Andy Tao emphasized that sustainability should be achieved alongside manufacturing efficiency. By combining significant reductions in water, energy, and chemical consumption with flexible, high-efficiency production, TDSD® enables brands and manufacturers to strengthen environmental performance while remaining competitive in an increasingly dynamic market.
Dr. An Wang noted that under ISO 14021, environmental claims must be accurate, verifiable, and transparent. Independent verification helps companies communicate sustainability performance with confidence while accelerating the adoption of innovative low-impact technologies across global supply chains.
Looking Ahead
ValleyDelta will continue advancing digital inkjet technology and expanding innovation in intelligent manufacturing, resource efficiency, and carbon reduction. Working together with partners across the textile value chain, the company remains committed to building a more efficient, lower-carbon, and more sustainable future for textile manufacturing.
