From June 10 to 12, the 2026 Shanghai International Carbon Neutrality Technology, Products and Achievements Expo, themed “Zero-Carbon Transformation, Empowering Through Key Factors,” was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. This year's expo brought together leading enterprises and organizations from sectors including energy, manufacturing, materials, transportation, and the circular economy to jointly showcase innovative practices and achievements in green and low-carbon development.

Green Transformation Becomes a Key Priority for the Textile Industry
Against the backdrop of continued global efforts toward carbon reduction and sustainable development, green transformation has become an important direction for industrial development. As one of the industries most closely connected with people's daily lives, the textile industry is accelerating its exploration of green development pathways that cover the entire product lifecycle. How to reduce resource consumption, improve production efficiency, and cut carbon emissions has become a key issue in the industry's transformation and upgrading.
At this exhibition, ValleyDelta focused on showcasing its independently developed TDSD® (Textile Digital Smart Dyeing) green digital dyeing technology for textiles. Centered on industrial inkjet dyeing, the technology combines advanced ink materials with an AI color management system to achieve digitalized, precise, and low-carbon dyeing processes. Compared with traditional textile dyeing processes, the technology can achieve nearly 99% water savings, 51% electricity savings, 83% steam savings, and a 21% reduction in chemical usage. Combined with T2T (Textile-to-Textile) recycled fabrics and low-carbon bio-based materials, it can further reduce the lifecycle carbon emissions of textile products, providing a new pathway for the industry's green transformation.

How Much Carbon Is in a Garment?
In addition to the technology showcase, ValleyDelta also launched the interactive activity "How Much Carbon Is in Your Clothes?" at the exhibition, hoping to help the public better understand the environmental impact behind clothing in a more engaging and accessible way.
The activity featured interactive sessions including a textile industry carbon emissions quiz and a low-carbon dressing challenge, attracting many visitors to participate. Many attendees expressed surprise after learning about the water consumption involved in denim production and the energy consumption of traditional dyeing processes, and also showed strong interest in the carbon reduction potential of new digital dyeing technologies.

Featured in Xinhua News Agency's Coverage
During the exhibition, reporters from Xinhua News Agency visited the industrial and commercial exhibition area to conduct an on-site interview with ValleyDelta. In its subsequent special report on the Carbon Neutrality Expo, Xinhua highlighted and reported on ValleyDelta's innovative practices in promoting the green and low-carbon transformation of the textile industry.

From green trade barrier policies to the increasingly stringent supply chain carbon reduction requirements of global brands, the textile industry is undergoing a profound green transformation. At the same time, the integration of artificial intelligence, digitalization, and advanced manufacturing technologies is creating new opportunities for industry development.
As one of the promoters of the textile industry's digitalization and green transformation, ValleyDelta will continue to be driven by technological innovation and supported by industrial collaboration, continuously promoting the textile industry toward a future that is more efficient, smarter, and more sustainable.
